Two activity
centers are available to rent by individuals and groups for workshops,
seminars, conferences, classes and business meetings. Parking
is readily available near the entrance, and a Metro Route 1 bus
stop is near the parking area.
The location is convenient to a variety of
hotels, as well as easily accessible to the Austin Bergstrom International
Airport. We can provide a list of local eating, entertainment and overnight accommodations.
The facility has been specifically designed
for functionality and to be comfortable for a variety of presenters and attendees,
with a warm and welcoming ambience.

 Studio One: Movement Center
The
NiaSpace studio has offered movement-oriented classes in this
location for more than 5 years. The raised wooden floor is ideal
for barefoot dance and movement classes and events, and is spacious
enough for performances with more than 1,640 square feet.
The sound system was designed for dance/movement
classes, including four wall-mounted speakers, multi-disk CD player, 2 line inputs
for laptop/iPod, wireless headset microphone system, wired handheld
microphone, and DJ mixer. Tape player/recorder available.
Mirrors on two walls can be covered for a
more intimate setting. A full wall of east-facing windows allows natural lighting,
and blinds can be closed for increased privacy. Ceiling lighting is multi-switched
and dimmable, with a small bank of colored lights for a "stage" area
available at one end of the room. A small kitchenette facility, with sink, cabinets
and refrigerator, is entered directly from the studio.
The specially designed, raised wooden flooring
requires some restrictions on seating and foot coverings. Contact us for information

Studio
Two: Community/Meeting Center
The 725 square foot multipurpose community, meeting and activity area accommodates
groups of up to 60 people, depending on seating. The facility has been designed
for flexibility and can serve for small classes, such as yoga, as well as business
meetings and workshops.
A full wall of east-facing windows allows
natural lighting, and moveable room dividers are available for increased privacy.
A dual lighting system allows for both bright lighting and dimmable lighting
as appropriate for for more intimate events. There is a 12' linear set of mirrors
on one wall that can be covered with curtains, if desired.
Attendees can enter through the main reception
area for registration and sign-in purposes, or can enter through a separate set
of doors as desired. An ambient, wall-mounted sound system provides a multi-disk
CD player, wireless lavaliere microphone and mixer. The room is designed for
sound abatement.
The primary open space measures 19' wide
by 29' in depth. An additional 6' can be added to the depth, depending on the
use of the curtained entranceway. Ceiling height is 10'.
Both Studios offer a well-lighted 30+ car parking area directly
in front of the building and are both handicapped accessible.

You know your event and audience best and are your most effective
promoter. However, we can help. Workshops and events are listed
on the NiaSpace Calendar with a brief description, contact,
and registration information. Some events also are listed in
our monthly newsletter, which is emailed
to up to 600+ subscribers to our list, as "other upcoming events."
For an additional fee, we will highlight your program in our
newsletter, rather than it being simply listed. Ask about our
Events Promotion Program when you contact us to reserve your
space.
